I'm looking for an Original stereo for my Celica. I need the 6-8 speaker system. The previous owner has installed an aftermarket stereo and I don't like it. I'm not sure if I need the amp because I haven't tore into it yet. I'd even be interested in trading. It has a JVC KDS-30 stereo/CD player with detachable faceplate and remote control installed now. There is nothing wrong with it, i just don't care for the look and I would like an original stereo back in the car.

I've got the original 2 peice CD player and tape deck system that came with my old-old Celica ['95]. I'd trade you straight up but I have no way to test it first. It worked when I pulled it out and it's been in a plastic bag ever since so it's a fairly safe bet that it still works but IDK - want to give it a shot?

i have one that works 100%, except that the volume knob is broken...

Same as death, no way to test it to prove it though~

*EDIT* & i'll vouch for DEATH on this one, if he pulled it out and put it in a bag; I guarantee it'll take him a day or so to find it; because i'm willing to bet my next paycheck it's in one of his many celica-parts boxes in his garage. As a result, it hasn't seen the light of day since, and therefore in the same exact shape and condition. lol. but probably true. Good buy with that guy. wink.gif

I have the original stereo I just took out of my car three days ago. The bass knob fell off and I never put it back on and have since lost it but other than that everything works on it. You can have it if you pay s&h. Either you get it or the dumpster gets it. The only thing I won't include is the bracket since I had to use that for my new stereo.
