My problem was the shift cables...I guess you have to modify them or get longer ones? |

You might want to edit your title to reflect your actual question, it looks like you need help with a spun bearing, not engine replacement choices.
Easiest would be a 7A obviously. Anything but an A series engine will require you to replace the trans and a whole bunch of other things. Doable, but a lot of work. A 4AGE version should fit in fine, though wiring would have to be done. I don't know the specifics of what else would have to be replaced, but I can't imagine it being more than for an S series engine. -------------------- |

ah the memories...
this is from a talon pushing 400 some hp at the wheels on a narrow band and safc tunning huge injectors you could ghetto fix it and sell the car, then pick up another celica for what you sell for. or swap away 4age's should run you about 800 for all you need, same transmission can be used, send the harness to dr tweak or dave (if he'll do it for you) thats $400 then its just a matter of putting it in. ive never done that specific swap, but i cant see it being too hard as manny says, get some balls n dive in! -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!
(2:27:32 AM) edit: please f*cking work, f*ck, sh*t, piss (2:28:08 AM) edit: that did the trick |
