i think CS3 has a reduction tool for stuff like that. 1600 iso with a pentax camera is as clear as day!

we should make a game outta this!
like... each week have "assignments" to get good waterscapes, or city scapes, and change it up each week to see all the cool area's of the world that everyone is from without us having to travel! -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!

When i took it, the setting on my camera was not ideal for the lighting as Art said. This picture was taken in London, and i did not notice this noise until i got it on my computer back home. Even though its not perfect, i still really like it. The noise does not bother me too much because it seems to add a cool "old school" look as commented above.

^ actually Snap, my comment was that your settings WERE ideal. You were shooting at night, hand held, with no flash. A higher ISO is a must in that situation. The noise actually works in favor of the pic (like you said) because the shot is in b/w and adds an old time look.
