hello all,
i cant figure out how to get my turn signals to a regular blink...im pretty sure it has a hyper blink relay or something of that nature installed, but i cannot find it. all of the bulbs are working and there are no electrical problems that im aware of. any help would be appreciated...im kinda sick of the ricey blinker...thankfully, that is the last of the ricer performance mods that is left on the car... -mo- |

QUOTE(purplegt4 @ Apr 21, 2008 - 12:10 AM) maybe not grounded? i think if that were the case, they would not work. besides, that would be in the cars harness which seems to be intact...im fairly sure its an aftermarket thing...just need to know where to look...thks tho... |

check to make sure LEDs weren't used in the external flashers. i had these in a 98 neon and it caused the fast blink.

inside the fuse box under the dash (at least in JDM models it is), it's a big (usually) green or black 3 prong box relay. no way to tell if it's bad. look at the diagram on the fuse cover, if it's not there, check the fuse box under the hood near the battery. pull it and go to auto zone and ask for a new one. once you get it, take it to your car and put it in. if that doesn't fix the problem, USUALLY they accept returns on stuff that doesn't fix your problem.

Left kick panel, up near the top left corner of it.
Put the turn signal on while you're looking for it, you should hear it clicking. -------------------- |

Good method but you'll need to pretend it doesn't fit the same - if they know you've tried it they won't take it back [all electrical parts nowadays] QUOTE(alltracman78 @ Apr 21, 2008 - 4:44 PM) Left kick panel, up near the top left corner of it. I have a funky connection on my FR turn signal, sometimes it bumps "loose" or something and I get that fast click-click-click that sounds like tiny rabbits humping in my gauge cluster. Then I'll drive over a bump and it'll return to normal. Be sure to check your bulbs when you hear the bunnies.
