ok...ever1 is saying 3s rods are stronger than the stock 5s rods...but i was looking at prices 4 both the other day and the 5s rods cost more...now i kno its not always to say whichever one cost more is better but how much better r the stock 3s rods than the 5s?

The 3s rods are almost identical to the 5s rods, but one thing. The 3s rods are a tad bit longer and FORGED. But to fit the 3s rods in a 5s you would have to machine down the crank, doing that the 3s rods will fit just like the 5s rods did. I have a set of factory 3s rods if you want to buy them.

I'm not sure how much needs to be turned down, but enough to take the rods. Your crank has enough metal to machine down don't worry. For the rod bearings you will obviously use the 3s bearings. How much? My guy told me he would do it for about 300. To be honest not sure if thats a good or bad price.
