Hey guys.. I remember a while back a few of you guys were putting on the 7th gen short shifter into your cars. There were some modifications you had to do and i remember there was a how to (I think) but i can't seem to find it anywhere. If you guys have the info let me know. thanx

also in step 6, it says you don't need to worry about breaking the clip... well you need that clip. i almost threw mine away. and you also have to put spacers under the assembly. other than that, just follow directions. I remember you had to use a dremel to grind somewhere but can't remember where, its been a while back when someone did this. i did not dremel anything. what i did is instead of using the spacers they gave me, i used 4 washers in each bolt. Check the stickies too in the electrical section. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

I went about not using the spacers. Does it prevent the stick from being notchy during shifts? I just figured it wasn't a big deal if I went without the spacers. I guess I will put them in and see what the differences are.
