Hi. I just bought a celica 6g, and im a little bothered about the road noise in this car. its kind of loud and disturbing.
So i want to sound dampen it! i just wonder what material to use to prevent the road noise, and how to avoid the sound dampening material to expose the metal to rust attacks!

For example, should i use butyl vibration dampening pads or Polyethylen Aucustic dampening pads?
thanks for help:)

you want to use the dense foam pads the mat wont stop the road nosie it will help a little but not much where as the pads thats what they are for its like the factory stuff but a lot better if you want top notch i would look into seckond(sp)skin audio they have awsome mat and pads however its expensive
