Hi, My wife's Celi has Daytime running lights and they are not working at all, neither the hi beams (related). Everything was working great since I made an engine bay pressure wash, but I didn't shoot water directly on relays and fuses, or bulb connections. I recently realize thet they were not working anymore, when I remove the bulbs (both) they were blown, tinted with black like fumes or something, and a large bubble were fromed in the side of them, seemed like they were having more than 12 volts maybe I replace them with new ones, and it's not working anymore. Anyone here have an idea, or wiring diagrams, it would be apreciated,
Thanx for the hints -------------------- |

Check the following: * Headlight High LH, RH and DRL fuses. They are in the small fusebox on top of the radiator. * Daytime running lights relay. It is in the drivers' kick panel. Less likely: * Daytime running lights relays #3 & #4. They are in the small fusebox on top of the radiator. They would both have to be burnt out to describe the symptoms, though. * Check your dome light works. If not, replace the 10A dome fuse in the drivers' kick panel (it supplies power to the DRL integration relay (ECU)). * The DRL integration relay (ECU). I believe it is under the steering wheel somewhere. * Steering stalk controls (combination switch) http://www.celicatech.com/vfewdsou/1995/95...ic/hdlitcan.pdf ...try the service hints at the bottom of page 100 (page 3). -------------------- Davey

some countries required DRL, Canada for an example, Canadian Market Celica's have DRL, I don't think it was an option, it was more to satisfy local laws, like Cali smog for US celicas.
