if it makes you feel better... that video is an auto 7afte. i've seen the 7afte put up some good numbers when done right. anywho... you might wanna look into the 4agze engine. supercharged stock and can handle boost pretty well. people normally swap the supercharger for turbo anyways.

If i sell my car and add the 6g i will spend on this I could buy a 300zx or even a vr4 both twin turbo cars with over 300hp stock.

Errr, VR4's aren't even 300hp, let alone over it. 240hp for the 2L variant and 280hp for the 2.5.....

Unless there's some other type of VR4 I'm not aware of 0_o

QUOTE(xinginteg @ Apr 25, 2008 - 2:54 PM)

I have decided to do the 7agze project I am starting right away and will begin to start ordering parts. There is only one thing that is starting to really scare me. When my car is around 1200 rpm there is this weird noise coming from the engine. Its not that loud but it sound like someone is taping there fingers on wood and it always sounds the same. If i rev higher it stops, it has had this noise for months now and it runs great, never any issues.

Regardless here are the main parts that I am ordering
4agze Pistons
Belfab forged 7afe H-beam rods when they are available
4agze head and supercharger
Inter cooler
ECU EMS 8860
I am having the dual exhaust custom built by a local meineke that has a few guys that know their stuff.
supra (7mgte) injectors
supra TT fuel pump
AEM cam gears
Now of course the part list is going to be a lot bigger than this but everything else will probably be OEM things that just have to be replaced.

Also does anybody know if AEM camshaft are available for this car?
If it gets to hard to find parts I will do the 7afte top end instead.

i would go with after market pistons instead of the 4agze the cost diff is not that bad
here is a small list of the things i have on my 7agte

4ag big port head
- stage 2 port and polish
-port and gasket match
- ferrea valves
- TRD springs and retainers
-Aries pistons (8.6:1) 81.50mm
-Puater custom 4340 chromoly rods 20 mm pins
-Innovation turbo 475hp capable @ crank
-B series honda manifold cut and 4ag welded flange
-38mm turbonetics wastegate
-Greddy RS bov
-greddy Profec B boost controller
-custom aluminum intercooler piping
-custom 3" downpipe
-32x8x3 intercooler
-greddy oil catch tank
-SDS standalone engine management
-hks cam gears both
-Crower camshafts (272 in. , 272 ex.)
-arp head bolt
-fully balanced rods, pistons, crank , flywheel, underdrive pulley
-oem flywheel
-ACT 6 puck clutch
-83lb/hr injectors
-walbro 255 lph intank fuel pump
- Phantom grip lsd with upgrade springs

--------------------
yea your 3sgte is cool but ill stick to my 7agte

4agze engines can be found for a bit under 1200 complete.

figure turbo goodies could put yourself at about 3000 total to get it turn key and be making ~200whp

i think its club4a? has some good info, but you need to search your pants off to find specifics

the Mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 is a v6 3.0 twin turbo and it generates 320 horsepower. None of the twin turbo vr4 made less than 300 hp. The none turbo v6 is 222 hp and more depending on the year. Also they are all 3.0 liters no matter which trim you pick.
