breif description of the story so far.... plenty more to come!
bought it as a standard import celica st205 GTFour, all the extras from factory included. how the engine used to look... then the changes began.. first off a blitz nur spec r exhaust system.. then the aussie 3" front pipes to join the blitz then the process of gutting the under bonnet insulation and removal of stock intake for apexi power intake.. then the blitz DSBC was installed for a bit more fun.. a ceramic aussie 3" downpipe was installed to remove the cat / downpipe combo to make the system a 3" straight through from the turbo out.. massive wastegate path.. smooth turbos in good nick... twin wastegate design of the ct20b all installed... i then decided to spray the heatshield to make it nicer. couple of coats and looks much better toyota sprint series happend... and then i realised how much boost creep i got in winter time, we tested the intake temps with the charge cooler installed and it wasnt a viable option to run 1.2 bar boost so this also had to go..... poor car for my nice big fmic from forge... cost the price of a small car! lol trial fitments happend then we finally finished the pipework and the bits put back together, it is beleive to be the only st205 using a ic this size to retain all oem coolers and foglights in the original mounting locations. 8 weeks later and alot of effort.. all back in and boost creep cured do to having such massive capacity in comparison to the cc setup, intakes down massively, and all good for me to drive the nurburg and donington park at flat out pace! things not seen as tein suspension and TRD low temp thermostat -------------------- 1994 ST-205 JDM GTFour... fmic conversion finshed, project GT500 is underway

QUOTE(Rusty @ May 2, 2008 - 6:40 PM) nice work how much psi & HP are you pushing? are you going for a larger turbo next? & whats your next plans? keep us updated psi im running around 1.2 bar so what.... 17psi i think. bhp wise, i ran a 304.7bhp, 301lb/ft @ 1.04bar way back last year for banzai magazine in a rolling road shootout, mods at the time were: blitz nur spec r system aussie front pipe apexi intake blitz dsbc running 1.04bar still running standard cat / dp combo spec now stands at blitz nur spec r system aussie front pipe aussie downpipe (ridding of cat too) apexi intake forge FMIC with custom pipework and brackets blitz dsbc running 1.2bar TRD low temp thermostat so im not sure what bhp / torque it is now but id expect say what... 320+ as for next plans, yeah the turbo is the next step forward, we used larger outlets on the ic so that if / when i uprate the turbo we are all fine and not restricting air flow or anything. i want massive response over flat out bhp though, as i use it quite alot for the odd trackday and most is quick flat out acceleration, so i cant be having any lag problems so that leaves me to what turbo we should use. just been out today for a run... 3 st205's! both me mates for a thrash about, rather good fun to say the least! Awesome car!
QUOTE bhp wise, i ran a 304.7bhp, 301lb/ft @ 1.04bar At the crank right? There is no way you hit 304hp at the wheels at only 15psi on a ct20b, especially with a 4wd car. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
