Hey guys, I'm looking to get coilovers soon, and I found a website that has the D2's for $890 shipped. Now this is a great price, but I'd like to hear feedback from actual owners on how these perform. Anyone actually use these on the track? I'll occasionally be going to the local road course, and wondered how these would hold up.

I just got a set of G4 Coilovers which are identical and come out of the same factory except are blue. So far so good. There's lots of new noises that I was worried about at first but a mechanic checked it and it's all good. Refrain from the temptation to get springs that are too stiff wink.gif

That price seems about the going rate. Although they say that they are track spec, I wouldn't be keen on using them on a track even semi-regularly - I've seen a few horror pictures of people bending/snapping them.....

im really wondering the same for the d2s..ive been hearing a lot of mixed reviews.

when people say stiff, how bad are we talking here cuz they are meant to be on the stiff side..

i DO use mine as a daily so im a little concerned about this.

I had K-Sports on my Tercel (same as D2 just anodized with a different color) and the ride wasn't quite smooth. Granted I went from an old, worn out stock suspension to coilovers... My Celica just has Eibach lowering springs and while it rides smoother than my Tercel with coilovers, it's pretty rough riding as well. I'm considering Tein or K-Sport/D2 because the Celica's handling is not where I like it to be. Neither is the ride height.

I must say, the cornering advantages will put a huge smile on your face. With wider, grippier low-pro tires, full coilovers, and Whiteline front and rear swaybars, I was taking corners where the little yellow speed advisory sign tells you to go 25 at 60+... The best ones are the banked cloverleaf-style interstate exits!

I like mine. Not sure what else i can say. They're good, some bad roads here in dallas, but none messed up my coilovers. Ive had for about over a year now i think, and no problems.
