My friend and i spend about two days working on this install, granted, we're not pros but we're also not extreme newbs at it haha. i just remembered to check to see if popping the trunk would trigger the alarm, and it doesnt... if anyone has any idea on how to work this out in a clifford 50.5x, please let me know! Im kind of lost at the moment as to what wire i missed or what wire i need to tap.. thanks guys!

You know that red light on the door that turns on when you open your doors? when you wire your door trigger to that light it will tell the alarm when any of the doors and trunk are open.

depends on what capabilities your alarm has, but you could easily run a prox. sensor in your trunk... Set the shock sensor to feel the trunk lid or switch... if you have a light that comes on to display your trunk is open, otherwise run a relay for power reduction to Y connect into the same line that senses your doors...or create your own way
easiest and cheapest would deff to run a line from a trunk indicator to an activator switch.
