Hey, just bought an oil catch can - where is the best place to locate in on my 3SGE?

Initially I thought that it should bridge where the little tube coming from the rocker to the intake manifold usually sits. Top left, just in front of the oil cap, is this right? I noticed that it has a non-return valve but oil still gets through and if it is removed the idle is high!!!!

He's from the UK, where GT celica's come stock with the 3sge.

anyway, I'm not too familiar with the engine, but if there is another hose that runs between your crankcase (probably valve cover) and your intake (either the piping or the manifold), other than the PCV valve, which as you said has a one way check valve, that would be the ideal place to put it between as that will be where most of the oil getting into your intake will be coming from.
