I have an ST an obviously i need more power. It has 110k miles on it. Ive done some suspension work and i have a short ram.
In the long run what would be the best idea? Turbo, 4age swap or stick some headers and an exhaust and get what little i can out of the 7a. I dont need 400hp and 400lbft, just a little more pep that what i got. The cost doesn't really worry me. I have 2 jobs and one pays me $14 an hour cash. And it doesnt need to be done right now. I just need it to be reliable and done right. What would you guys say would be the best idea? This post has been edited by terqui: May 5, 2008 - 9:09 PM |

If money doesn't matter, please don't waste that money that doesn't matter on a header. If you've got money do a swap. Don't waste money on bolt-ons. Either boost it or swap it.

if you want reliable, dont turbo the 7a. it'll take a lot to be TRULY reliable, though it can be done. i'd say swap in a 20V 4AGE. a little peppier and revv happy than the 7A, though you will lose torque down low and MPG

It's a 7afe?
Daily Driver? Turbo setups can be reliable if done correctly... but take time and money... So if you want a BIT of pep, then go ahead and upgrade your plugs, wires, higher-flo cats, slightly bigger exhaust (2.25-2.5) and go with the independent headers... save up your money for a nitrous kit (600-800) if you decide later that you really wanna "play" on occasion. besides, a turbo on a 7afe ST... that's never going to achieve much... okay, let me rephrase that, it's not likely to achieve much. (there are probably a few guys that would beg to differ ) -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive.
