Not sure what wrong need help pleasee Options

Hey I am new to this forum and was wondering if you guys can help me. I just bought a 1994 celica Gt Manuel and i am a new stick driver and when i got the car it seem fine. My sister husband tested it out for me and said it was good. So i got it on Thursday and was thinking i did pretty good job driving it. and then on sunday i was going to newport beach and i going on the 55 s car pool on ramp and i was about to shift in to 4th gear and it wouldnt go so i thought i stalled. So i pull to the side and start up my car and press on the gass and try to go into 2nd but my gear wouldnt change if my car was on and i went to check if i had fluid and i did it was full. So i am really not sure what wrong with my car i think i brunt out the clutch but really not sure. Hopefully you guys can help Thanks

check your gear oil first of all, should be your clutch as they usually just slip when they get worn down meaning you put your foot down in a gear and it will just rev and not go anywhere.

Ya i had to replace the clutch man thanks for the info
