I am looking into buying a in dash dvd player for my 95 celica. This is the one i was looking at.. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=18430 it looks like a good player and a good price. On the website it does not say anything about a wireing harness or anyhitng else i would need. What else do i need to install this player? Thanks!

You'd need a wiring harness. That's about it. One thing about DVD players (if you haven't installed one in a car yet), the instructions say to connect a wire to your e-brake wire. This is so you can't watch movies unless your e-brake is pulled. It's illegal to have an in-dash player playing a movie while driving (this is what I was told back when I installed one). If you want to be a rebel and be able to watch movies while driving, simply ground that wire and you're all set.

I've had this player, all that is needed is a wire harness. The player isn't bad either, I'm going to get a kenwood double din when I get the money, like it better. And you can def wire it to play whenever you want, I grounded the wire to the bracket that holds the player but its all up you. Any screw really works. . Just make sure it has a good connection

You can get some pretty decent in dash dvd ones for cheaper. I got a pioneer one last year for $400 and it's been great. Wiring harness is all you need and installation is also very simple. Just connecting something like 8 wires together with tape/solder and your good.
