Where can I get a really good radiator..or what's a name of a good radiator..Today my car just messed up and just got my new radiator like 3 weeks ago..and its like messing up..and it takes a lot of my coolant...More input!

Try Fluidyne. Is that correct spelling? Anyway they make excellant top of the line stuff. Hopefully one that fits our engine bay and support. I dont know if they do or not. Call them, maybe we can get a group buy out of it.

How does it take your coolant? What exactly is happening? Might be something other than the radiator. Or if it is, being only 3 weeks old, it should have some sort of warranty.

The radiator is probably cheap brand. my folks got it for me lol and i dont trust there judgement..well my mothers anyways. I trust my dad but I'm going to get a new radiator..cause it did it again today and i'm po-ed it must be cause i use the ac and i was driving 90 down the freeway

is it possible that my car is overheating because i was using the AC and driving at top speed of 90 MPH on the freeway and blaring my music??

I thought it was my thermostat..but when i stopped the car just in case i checked my radiator and damn was it empty and my coolant..and i just filled it up the day before! and when i release the cap on the radiator there was freakin smoke comin out and like brown stuff squirted out..it was't the coolant i used..cause i used prestone and prestone is green or something colored

I used a UK product called Radweld when I holed my radiator.
That was back in '98 and I'm still going strong. Its bl**dy good stuff and WORKS. If, however, you considering a new rad., check out the massive forum post on the Turbo project. I know that west_minist posted a source for radiators. |
