hey my clutch has some chatter in the mornings and doesn't catch very quickly when I speed shift so i'm getting ready to replace it. I definitely don't want a 4 or 6 puck design, I want to enjoy driving around rolleyes.gif . I'm having trouble deciding whether a OEM clutch or a stage 1 is right for me.

I've got a couple bolt-ons and I plan on getting a shortshifter down the road. Will a OEM clutch be able to engage as quickly as a stage 1 with these mods?

Thanks for any advice,
Travis

I've got centreforce dual friction, and it grabs amazingly! Also provides the stock pedal feel so you won't have to worry about your "enjoy driving around" issue. Also, i've bolt on mods and short-shifter already as well.
But an OEM clutch will be fine except, the price you might be paying could be comparable to that of an aftermarket one.

I checked your clutch out it doesn't look too bad, they also have a centerforce 1 which looks like it'll handle what I want.

Any other opinions out there?

get an Exedy OEM replacement or Stage1.

I went with an Exedy mainly because a lot of other brands (like the Centerforce dual friction that mikeE stated above) use Exedy discs.
I have an Exedy Racing Stage 2 and I absolutely love it, but it's a 3 puck and some people think its a little too harsh for everyday use, although I do drive mine everyday and love it anyway.
