Hey everyone....Hi doctor NEZ BANG....lol
Well since i have had my 6th gen in August last year after my $30,000 spent total 1988 celica GT-Two got totaled by a stray horse at 3.30am the Yellow st204 "Team Europe" edition Australian sold celica has been getting some goodies and i thought I would liek to share with all you guys and since i'm bored **** less on a sat night (no money (been getting ripped off by builders so no pay for 2 weeks)) i can't go to the casino tonight for my mates birthday...so what perfect time to write up this thread..... Firstly if you guys haven't seen it already my old girl...the red 1988 SX (GT-S) GT-TWO.... then the horse hit it..... Today i just pulled the engine out (been very busy and also very slack too and yeah.....it still on the tractor hanging off the front bucket well put it on the engine stand tomorrow and start pulling some stuff off and cleaning it up.... Now the celica as i brought it in August 2007..... this is about 200 yards to the left of my house i get the same veiw of the city center of the GOLD COAST in Queensland, AUS (the place the champ car round is held in the streets) Next pics from from a mountain about 40mins away from the ones before and is much closer to the coast and doesn't have other mountains in front....lol Then i Got some ebay clear quater panel turns...they very nice... Then my JDM tails My wheel bearing then deiced to **** thy selves but i had 10,000km old one in the st162 wreak so we bolted the whole hub and that in...just swaped the wheel bearing bracket that bolts to the lower control arm...what else attached to my st162 hubs......the st205 4 piston calipers and machined down to 300mm rotors....awesome stuff...also the rims.... i also fitted the inch bolt on spacers i had on the back of the st162 tot eh st204 so the rear wheels are right nice with the arches and that...looks hot... Then i fitted my stereo components from the st162 wreak and brought some new stuff as well... Alpine CDA 9855R and 4th gen 40gb ipod wired to to the Ainet connection of the Head Unit and wired up to charge the ipod when driving.... My Blaupunkt Veloctiy DVC 500w RMS sub in a small fiber glass box custom built by me moulded to the st204 trim. I'll list the full stereo list later down the thread or that.... Next is the St205 GT-FOUR rear strut brace with the proper trim pieces.... Next is JDM metal "celica" door sills. They are HOT!!!! Next i painted the rear st204 brakes to suit the red painted st205 ones i have on the front and also got ADR (Australian Design Rules) Approved braided brake lines (In Australia we have "design rules" for all car and safety type stuff so everyone is made to a standard and saves on law suits and all that crap if stuff goes wrong. also i'm still covered by insurance with them and not just some internet brought ones. I just finished installing my JDM head lights (low beam projectors and clear lense high beam) and also DDM slim line ballast HID kits for both low and high beam in 6000K colour temp..... Stocko lights on The DDM HID lights and battery harnesses.... Installed crap night time photo.... HIDs on... Better day time photos with a good camera and skillz of my mate. And finally some nice other photos by him as well.... The mod list to date.... Engine: Nothing yet why waste on the 5s-fe when there is a $8000 3s-gte setting in the shed...lol Suspension: - Front st205 4 pistons calipers and rotors (machined down to 300mm to fit) - All brakes front and rear braided lines (ADR approved) - St205 gt-four OEM rear Strut Race - 17x7in RSGT Wheels Exterior: - JDM tails - JDM front head lights with HID kits low and high beam 6000k colour temp - Painted red calipers - Clear quarter Turns Interior: - Alpine CDA-9855R MP3/WMA head unit - Alpine PDX 4.100 - Blaupunkt Velocity Pro VPc 172 (top of the range 6.5splits) - Some decent 6.5in pioneer splits for the back - 750wrms mono block sub amp - Blaupunkt velocity 12in DVC sub in custom fiberglass small arse box....(129.9db on some rap none tuned) - 40gb 4th gen ipod connected to head unit. - JDM "CELICA" metal door sills - 1kg fire extinguisher in passenger foot well. I'll fill n more too come on a later date... in the next couple weeks i'm waiting on a TRD front brace. and in the next couple of months is some poly uthane bushes for the front control arms and rear trailing arms and lateral arms. also Whiteline (aussie company) uprated sway bars and a bit after that Tein SS coil-overs with EFDC...then next year the engine conversion and that... I hope you like, Have a good one...BTW going to the casino now...lol... This post has been edited by 3s-gte_man: Oct 26, 2008 - 6:04 AM |

WOW!!! so how much did that engine cost you, if you don't mind me asking... wellt eh bottom end was 5600 ish with the cam gears and all parts and everything i supplied the block (the ACL pistons are really custom sort of ones ACL use ROSS blank pistons and then machine them to your compression and all that stuff you/your engine builder wants. the head was a used item about 5000km on her with all cams, up rated springs and valve 3 angle grind and that with the 550cc injectors for 1200 from another celica person on the aussie celica forum and gets his engine and that particular head built and machined from the same place the bottom end did. the turbo was $1000 i gave them one stuffed group a st185 steel turbin wheel ct26 they gave one all rebuilt all new bearing and seals blanced, with a to4e 57trim compressor wheel and the turbin cliped (he said it was already a bit cliped) and i think he was right cause she is one laggy ct26 but flows some top end power... that engine made 202hp @ the front wheels with some ingintion brake down i think (running a bit wried), 2in FMIC cooler piping, 8-9psi, and the only 3in bit of the zorst is the ebay dump (aussie copy) and 3in stright through muffler the rest of the system was 2-2.5in press bent ohhh the flex pipe was a 3in item.... and it was leaking a little bit of boost near the throttle body....so yeah i think on 10-12psi all that **** fix 250 would have be realistic and then would have taken her to 20psi only thing holding it back was the turbo....about 20-23psi the turbo guy siad she "should" be good for and still in the good compressor islands and the 550cc injecotrs they would be maxed out at 350ish hp.... |

She now has Full st205 Brakes front and rear now...the fronts were old and seen better days so i took them off re painted them gave them EBC Red Stuff Ceramic Pads and EBC slotted rotors......
Thanks to Arron (lubu for selling me his st205 rear brakes and everything needed...it is a bolt on conversion just needing to piss the dust shield off and the 5.5mm spacers and done...Enjoy the PICS Giving them there last hint of hot 30 degree sun shine before they went on. ST204 rear on the left and ST205 rear on the right... a big difference in size and they all machined and cleaned up. The EBC slotted front rotors machined down to 300mm....and the ebc red stuff pad in my hand. front all back together and bolted up. the new rears are a get match to go with the st205 front and they all help in the braking too... It had been a while since i gave the celica some TLC and so this morning gave her a wash, quick clay buff in areas needed, polish and wax and tyre shine....she is awesome now. The Ceramic red stuff pads are awesome and just love the hard and fast braking....they do hate the soft traffic braking...they squeel something real bad. (aka cruising surfers and spit etc). The rears have leveled out the car a bit when braking which is awesome and so they're doing their job helping out the fronts too. This with ARD approved Road and Track braided brake lines this thing probably take on a evo or sti in braking....just awesome power and stops on a dime. Just need the suspension and power to go with them. :lolhit: Cheers people. COILOVERS that is.... BC coilovers type BR or something like that. they are awesome and use steel lower bits so they stronger than the normal ali ones The tops of them...front camber adjustable and the rear have a sloted upper bolt hole so they can adjust the camber of the rear too. A rear one installed. The end result much nicer looking closer to the ground. Another Angle The strut tops with camber adjustment with the perfect partner TRD strut brace. |
