ok my buddy bought an 01 acura CL type S. it has a 3.2 v6 v-tech engine (230 HP plus a new injen cold air intake)with 80k miles and a brand new tranny with about 200 miles on it. its a shame that he works twice as much as he sleeps. so he wrecked it while napping at the wheel. so im trien to work out a deal with him and drop it in my celi.now i didnt do any measuring yet but im thinking this might work. im not worried about mechanical work and a lil bit of fab work. what im wondering is would i have to use the fuse panels and every lil electrical piece under the hood and dash? a honda v-tec? what are you man? i don't thin anyone here would put a v-tec engine in a toyota, especially a 6gc. -------------------- |

Nice vision cuz you want the horsepower but totally not worth the headache. Swap a Toyota motor.... I haven't lost to 1 Honda,ever... and I think I'd give up racing if I did.

if im ever gonna do a swap id rather stay in the toyota category and drop in something like a 2jz, but then again thats just me.. some people would prefer to be "different" which makes sense..good luck id like to see this build if you ever decide to take it to another level..im pretty sure some people on here wouldnt mind giving you some pointers/help

why not just drop in a 2GRFE? more power, more compatible and it hasn't been done in a 6GC yet. not even sure if the thing fits, lol. there's always a nice juicy 3MZFE thats guaranteed to work
If you really want to drive with that motor, it would be less work to just buy and fix your buddy's honda -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------
