SoCal BBQ Meet June 21, Covina Autobacs + BBQ Options

Don't worry so much about the meat. We will go buy it fresh because we will have more than enough time to go grocery shopping before the BBQ. Well not like fresh from a butcher or anything, but like we can go to the market and buy some after Autobac's. And Faust, sorry if you got the wrong idea, but we are NOT BBQing in the parking lot of Autobac's hahahaha. We will be going to a park, but I want to discuss with Marco about something, because the original park we were going to BBQ at is pretty small, but it's not bad. I was driving by my house and the park by my house is much larger, but Idk what time it closes. It says it's open daily from sunrise to sunset, so it's probably open until about 8pm too. Both parks are roughly 20 minutes away from Covina Autobacs. Don't worry though, just meet at Autobacs. We will be driving together from there on.

Also, Andrew, I really hope you can get your car fixed by Saturday. Let me know if there's anything I can help you out with.

Not sure if it is a city thing or a state thing, but parks generally close (at least in my county) at 10PM. So after 10PM you would be considered trespassing. Speaking of which, I have a joke a Mexican guy told me.

Q: "How come Mexicans only cross the border in pairs?"

It was a little funny. Anyways, lol I thought we were going to be in the sun. DUDE! Wear sunblock everybody! I must have either not had this mole, or it was light, but I have a little little dot of a mole appear on my nose over one day and I was barely in the sun. I am very bothered by it, and I know it isn't a big deal, but still. I didn't know that can happen, so wear sunblock. The sun is not joke foo.


I hope I can go and see all you guys! I think it is going to be great! Probably the best meet of your lives! Until someone gives us free money at one and we all get to take a girl home (just kidding, "Racers don't need girlfriends" and it is okay I said Racers because I am not saying street racers. Track racers are ok).

I'm cool. After that car show, Joe, Marco and I have been in worse . The sun doesn't bother me much anymore. The 2 parks in question close at 8pm. Which is fine, because it's not like we are going to be BBQing til 10pm anyways! There will be mosquitos out by that time, and MaskedMan is not a fan of those little suckers (no pun intended). Only the cooking will commence late, but we can still take pictures and be at the park before 5pm which will give us plenty of time to do things. There's still alot to do asides from the park anyways. It just depends on if people are tired or not. The way I see it, if the BBQ starts at 5pm, and we take about 1 hour to cook stuff, that will give us 2 hours to eat and clean up, which should be more than enough time. Most of the time, people take no longer than an hour to eat, but we have 2 hours so it should be perfectly fine .

About the joke, I think it would have been more funny if you didn't add the little caption that tres means 3 in Spanish hahaha. I'm pretty sure everybody knows that tres is 3, well mostly everybody. But you know what they say, a joke isn't funny if you have to explain it .

i agree to go shopping before goin to the park, that way we touch all bases on what everyone wants to throw on the grill.

i duno when parks close, but i have bad experiences with them when just A) hanging out with friends talking about stuff B) with the old lady C) havin a couple of drinks at a park across from my homie's place.

hmm. i hope it doesn't close too early, it is summer and it is the weekend.

i'm illin right now, i'm going to the meet in sickness or in good health (rofl)



oh, and i know how those mosquitos are..

i went to cancun with my friends and we went to this one island/party place and we got bit like KARAZAY. n the lol thing about it is that they knew it would happen so they had vendors selling drinks, snacks and cortisone cream lol

not sure if i'll be able to make the meet.

Tomorrow morning i am changing out this gasket below, as well as changing out my driver's side caliper, both brakes and installing my pillowmounts (even though i'm still on the stock blown shocks )



If everything goes according i'll definitely be there. If not... then probably i'll be sulking away. I hate this freaking engine!!! I cant wait until I can afford something that doesnt have problems every 10k miles.

Oh man Aaron.. that gasket sucks . But atleast the 7afe has easier access than the 3s or 5s engines imo. Goodluck with that Aaron and I hope you can make it .

I'm pretty sure I wasn't thanking you. I made a comment saying that you say things that have nothing to do with the topic at hand, such as calling me "sexy" randomly.

Faust, you left me an image comment which I never check. If you have a question, then PM is the best way to do it because I didn't notice you even posted a comment until now. I'm not sure what piece of the radiator support you're talking about in the comment, but to remove it, you will need to drill the plug welds out. Then you will need to weld a new one on.

Since you guys rather talk about how girls suck, and guys are sexy, I'll assume that you already know what's going on.
