I just installed my RCR 3pt rear strut bar yesterday....wow big difference! and installed my ebay 2pt front bar today (not tested yet). I investigated the stock front bar that i already have , just to check if rigidity and it is a REAL JOKE! you could almost flex it just at looking at it laugh.gif ...no seriously how this bar can help, it's so soft! IIRC someone on this board was building replicas of those bars (i guess it was more stiff than stock)...does anyone knows where to get those?

i don't think the person building those 3pt strut bar ever updated his thread.. last thing i saw was a jig he built to help him produce replicas.

Not technically under the rear seat. If you look in the back of the hatch, there is a bolt that holds the seat down. Thats if you raise up the rear trunk carpet.

since you have a coupe I am unsure about the strut bar in the rear. But for the front any strut bar designed for our gen celica will fit.

not quite.. but installing the rear strut brace is a piece of cake anyway.

i didn't feel any noticeable difference with the gt-four rear brace but i felt more difference upgrading the front brace.

i didnt feel any noticeable difference after installing my front strut bar ...in my case, the front one is a cheap ebay 2pt one so i think you need a good 3pt one to feel it....my rear one however is a 3pt and i guess you will feel it more than a stock 2pt

Interesting, I took a more steeper turn goin at like 50 and i sure did feel the difference with the gt-four rear brace.
However this was on stock suspension that's 14 yrs old though...
