Ok, I saw this in the parts list and got confused http://www.toyotaworld.com/accessories/hea...ersion_kits.htm it looks like for 24.95 we can buy the parts to convert our low beams into projectors!! I cant beleive that can be done, has anyone done this? It looks like simply you would use a heat gun to open it and put in that piece? Someone tell me im halucanating before I buy the kit and make myself cry it doesnt work rolleyes.gif

I'm pretty sure that that kit just does what it says above. wink.gif

That kit isn't applicable to sixth generation Celicas and is for other Toyotas I'm pretty sure.

just the low beams. all 4 will be around 780 shipped, and i waited 10months for the high beams, but man was it worth it! also, even if you were to put together a kit to make your low beams into projectors, the lens of the headlight would still be grooved, and mess up the concentrated beam of the projector, therefor making all attempts futile. tongue.gif

(i thought about doing this a while back, but then realized about the lens...so i went all out.)

Ok quick question...Is there any kind of modifications to the bulbs and sockets if you get the low beam projectors/ JDM high beams, like new wiring and stuff? Does it just bolt on?

Ok i have another question, and it applies to only those who have them, which are few i kno. Most of the projector beams are made so that they angle towards the drivers side. Now in japan, this is the right side. I wanna kno how angled they really are and if this is a pain in the arse.

i had a picture of it, but iono where it went, i will look for it when i get home from class. but basically, yes, the beam is cut to favor a driver oncoming from the right hand side of the car. minimal light shines into the eyes of the oncoming traffic, but, it's nothing that is any problem. like i said in a previous post, i think i was flashed w/ high beams 3-5 times in a 10month span. it's really quite sexy how cut the beam is, because basically, there is a flat line, then an angle at about 200ish degrees. below that, light, above, no light. wicked pisser. but, i'll try to find that pic. smile.gif. hope that helps.

btw, adjusting them is just like on your stock headlights, they have the 2 socket/screw adjusters on the back. smile.gif

Ok so the direction of light isnt to cut so that visibility sucks right?

And do you drive with ur brights on? Or do u get flashed with the low's on?

the visibility is just fine. and no i don't drive w/ the brights on. like i said, i'd get flashed cause of the cut of the beams. but again, it's not often at all. sooooo. it's all gravy. smile.gif.
