Thats a $1200 camera thats got a email client and everything, but I don't think it has any GPS. Supposedly some Taiwan company will have the "first ever" coming in June...

Digital camera + GPS?
Doesn't most high-end cell phones nowadays have those 2 features? -------------------- |

Except most digital cameras on phones aren't nearly as good as a REAL camera.

QUOTE GlobalSat's BC-337 is a highly portable CompactFlash GPS Receiver, which utilizes SiRF's Star III low-power chipset. When combined with Ricoh's GPS-Ready Pro G3 Digital Camera... It's actually 2 different devices being combined. It maybe a solution to what they need, but as of right now there is no single device with both - but they're on the way. -------------------- |

Why would anyone need a gps based camera?
I can see a civil engineer needing something like that...but then that wouldn't be something in the consumer market. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

I could see why people would want to take pictures and be able to geo-tag them and share the location.
