Its a cool idea (get it? haha). But I would like to see some type of automotive insulation used that is fire safe, and doesn't look like home depot in your engine bay. i dont think it looks to bad actually...plus its all about functioning who cares what it looks like? lol.....which reminds me of a buddy of mine who has a cobra svt mustang...04 i believe...under his hood he has NASA spec. thick ass heat deflecting material that he wrapped EVERYTHING in....its almost like a very thick tin foil....you would not believe how cold his car runs...litteraly cold -------------------- ![]() I"M NOT A TOYOTA FAN, IM A FANATIC 1984 accord hatch 5 speed (T-Belt)-Junkyard 1991 VDUB jetta wolfsburg Ed. 5 speed (clutch)-junkyard 1988 Dodge Aries K (sold) 1969 Chevy El camino - Traded for celica 1991 Dodge Daytona-Traded for Celica 1988 Chevy Camaro-Work in Progress 1989 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 - For Sale 1995 Toyota Celica-Work in Progress |

This is brilliant! I'm totally going to find something to do this with. I wonder if that insulation material that you use on hot water heaters would work - the stuff that's fiberglass on the inside and foil on the outside. I bet that stuff isn't flammable.
