Toyota Dealership wants me to make an appointment for something I know only takes 5 minutes. I just need to know where the box is, and what the "sequence" is to program my new remote (that the dealership raped me for)!

Thanks

the box is under the driverseat.

1. Insert key into ignition, turn it to on(not acc)
2. On your ECU unit, gently push the button with the
tip of a paper clip, pen, etc, for about 3 seconds until the light on
the TOYOTA SECURITY panel lights up. You now have about 30 seconds to
press the button on your new remote once) to tell the car to
recognize it.
3. remove key from ignition
4. step out of car and test your remote

that should do it.

No problem. did that one work? because i also remember one where you had to open and close the door 5 times or something then unlock and lock it 3 times then go back and forth from off to Acc with the key 5 times then you could program it.

Ok tried looking for that box, no joy!
Could you post a pic of what the box under the seat looks like?
I took apart the dash looking for a control box with a button but nothing... not a zip? The car doesnt have an aftermarket alarm for sure, the toyota security led is there and no aftermarket boxes anywhere. All the boxes are labeled TVS-IIIB, again not one with a button

In mine it sits on top of the ECU under the centerdash, black box. Not really a button that you can push with ur finger, you need a pen or something small.

hmm does it look like this???

This box I found just above the air vents in the center dash, theres a "key transponder" box on the passenger side. I found no buttons on either!? I even unscrewd that one and opened it up the only button looking thing is a set of dip-switches which I take are for setting the frequency.
