someone should make a calendar and I like griff's layout/ideas.

Whether it's offical or not there should be a calendar made. I don't care if 5 people make 5 different calendars, let's just get this rolling.

personally I feel that someone should have creative control over the calendar (for which pics to pick, ect) but i'm in-sensitive to people's feelings at times. IMO just pick what pics to go with and if I like them I'll buy it.

But polls work too, or just make 2 calendars each with 12 different pics so more people would be happy. I don't know...

Michelle I like your work, it's amazing! What is bit confusing for me is that "official vs unofficial tug-of-war". First of all I do not thing there would be tons of submittions for "official" calendar. I do not see any single reason why should be... Also IMHO idea like "this time is official post again that one before is piece of junk" is stupid... Is great there is someone who has started to work on something that early. Thanks Davey! Cuz... sad to say that "voice of God" I havent heard here for many weeks (yes I'm talking about Coomer). So I do not agree with that official/unofficial splitting. Why just do not continue? I mean... there already is about 20 submittions. Cool... let's shout once more "this is offical! you have one more month for submitting" and done... anyone "unoffical affraid" may participate and those who already posted something may not feel stupid like "Am I not allowed to participate that 'official' one since I'm already 'unoffical' etc.". Finaly there will be one big collection of pictures and (I like that Dustin's idea) if there were dozens of pic chance to make two selections for two calendars (both called the same... not official and unoffical)...

For future reference Davey, get authorization prior to starting stuff like this.

It was called unofficial for a reason. If you look at the threads from the 2008 calendar, it was very clear that none of the admins felt comfortable with the calendar being in any way linked to 6gc.net officially - including use of the logo. If you read my first port you will know that I contacted coomer both for permission to run it as an official calendar and to let him know what I was up to.

Your deadline is over you have your pics, I'm not sure what the discussion is about.
Make your calendar. Griff will make hers. This whole thing isn't about which calendar is
official and which is not. Some of us need more time to get pics together.
I personally feel griff is more qualified to be heading this up. You were gone for about a
month and a half, no one knew what was going on. I remember 2006 when Shid ( not Shin )started
the calendar and took everyones photos then no one ever really heard from him again.
Coomer ended up finishing that one himself.

As for last years calendar yes I remember it I gave player (dan) crap in that instance too.

I had a thread in website disscussion to get permisson to do this, it took about a week to get it.
If you want a 6GC.Net calendar that is where it should start, by getting permission. Don't
start an un official thread, then get permission.

If this whole thing turns into a big pissing match no one is going to win.

I am one of the people who was pushing griff to take this over after
you dissapeared, so don't be mad at her she is just doing what people
have been pushing her to do.

griffgirl will be making the ONLY approved 6gc.net calander.

davey, i edited your title, as you do not have permission to use the 6gc logo.

also, please do not use any images of my wifes car in this calander, including the one art took.

I don't see the point in having 2 calendars with the same pictures. Time to combine the pics and start the voting i think, as if there is going to be an official one, i don't want my pic in the un-official one, as will others i suspect.
