The worst thing is that I bought a replacement, had it sitting right there, know that it should be on the HP side after the condensor, and still couldn't find it.
![]() On the good side of things, I got my Celica to take a charge for the first time since I bought it by replacing the low pressure valve core and pulling a deep vacuum for 30 minutes. It would've been good to replace the drier then, but if I lose my charge, at least I'll know where to go with it. ![]() This post has been edited by Shytheed_Dumas: Jun 16, 2008 - 7:13 AM |

Well, there's no point in doing any more AC work... yesterday I stepped into the car and got a big, stinky blast of UV-134a from the vents as soon as I started the car, and no working air. I can only guess that I've got a leaky evaporator core.
![]() I have no interest in pulling the dash and installing a couple hundred dollar part without knowing where the next weak will show up. The drier/receiver's going back to AZ, and I'm going to sweat through the summer. ![]() Thanks for the help, tho. |
