New 8's in the doors :), after so long! Options

I finally got my new 8" subs in the doors today! and it took forever.

i first ordered the subs about 2 weeks ago. they were supposed to be there in 2 days, and the place i got them at is about 45 minutes away. so, without calling (stupid), i went over there 2 days after i ordered them and they werent there yet. so the next day i call and they still arent there. finally i call 4 days after i ordered them and they finally got them in but im in a hurry to get to work right after. so i drive over there speeding the whole way, pick up the subs, and drive back home to go to work.

the next day i call them and they say they can put them in. so i drive there (and decide to get an amp too ) and after 3 1/2 hours they say theyre done but i still have to take it back there later (it's getting late) to get the speakers balanced correctly. so i drive home and realize that there is no bass at all. neither of the subs are working right.

2 days later i call and tell them there's not bass and they say its because of the balancing they need to do. so i take it in again and after about 1 1/2 hours i come back and they tell me one of the subs is blown! i was pissed...but i just said fine.

they order 2 new speakers (the other sub didnt sound too good either) and after 4 more days (it was supposed to be 2 days ) they get the speakers and i go over there to finally have them installed....which was today. yaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

all i need now is a sub in the trunk...but im not going back to that place again.

EDIT: AAAAAAHHH!!! the subs still didnt sound right so i went back, got a 4-way amp, and a sub in the trunk. but now it still isnt working right!!!! im so pissed right now.

finally works!!!!! yaaaaaaay!! sound great!

EDIT: i will take pictures when i get a digital camera or i use my friend's...i dont know when that'll be though.

What kind of subs did you use? How many watts is your amp?

all the speakers i have are in my profile, but if your too lazy i guess ill tell u . 2 8" crunch subs in the doors and a MTX 12" sub in the trunk. they said they used the 8" subs as the mid-bass or something.

and they said the amp is 400 watts.

Subs in the doors.... aren't we sacrificing music quality here for some reason? That means you can only hear the music from the two rear speakers, or did you custom something?

i put two 8" midbass kicker resolutions in my doors, I haven't hooked them up yet. I'm waiting 'cause i haven't bought an amp yet, i'm going to get either a 300.2 or 400.2 kicker amp. Mine will b similar 2 urs, i installed myself and it wasn't too bad.
