hey...im thinking abt. selling my 97 gt...i was wondering if ne1 was interested...but i have a question...would you pay more for it if it was turbo...if so how much more? thanx.

I wouldn't pay more if it were turbo, because you don't know the quality of the setup by another person or the reliability of it either. Too many people on here seem to have bought modded cars that were modded by someone else, only to find out poor workmanship costs them more in the long run.

you wouldn't be able to get back what you put into it. It would cost you $2-3k to turbo you're car and even w/ a brand new turbo set up, the value of the car would only be about $1k more than if you kept the motor how it is. So you'd end up loosing a couple grand.Now if you plan to keep the car for a whle and want to turbo it and enjoy that for a few years, then a turbo would be more worth it imo. But you'd still loose some money. At least w/ the second route, you get the pleasure of owning a turbo'd celi..you're choice though. Strictly for resale value, it does nothing.

so in other words i should just build my motor stock paint and sell? how much would it b wrth? wat would b a good asking price? i was thinking around 6k?
