My intake hose has a crack, can i use other cars intake hose as long as it came from a 5sfe?thanks

i have duct tape already. im just wondering if it would affect performance and im planning to put a drop in K & N filter

naw, a seal is a seal..... a closed tube is a closed tube.... just looks ghetto... just make sure if its where the ribbs are in the bends that its stuck to the actual rubber so no air can get in.... mine broke at the clamp right on the intake manifold...

clean it well, then apply a dab of silicone sealant, let it cure over night, good to go.


ductape also works just fine, but the glue tends to goto crap underhood due to the heat.

true, then it melts and gets everything nasty and sticky, but definately cheep!
the intake hoses arent cheap at all...
