Since nobody answered me yesterday confused.gif (and I get it as a "No, you can't do it"), now I'm back with another question: anybody tried to make a project like the ones on mp3car.com on his 6g cel?

I'd like to but I can't find a suitable place for my lcd panel (if it will be a lcd panel) and I'd like to share any info with anyone...

Hardest part would be making it look like a pro job.

mp3s, games, internet, porn, everything. Personally thats not a priority for me, Id wrather make a fast car, and I dont spend alot time sitting in my car when Im not driving so i dont know when you'd use it. But if ya got the extra money I guess it would have a cool factor.

Why not get a good laptop stand and find a way to wire it through the head unit? Or just burn a cd on the go and play it. Seems a hella lot cheaper and easier to actually "do".

Maybe he wants a computer in order to read warnings when he hits the nitrous button twice.

I spend lots of time in my car waiting for stuff (don't ask tongue.gif). I even sleep there sometimes, that might not be a bad idea...

Well, even though we're a bit off topic here...There are a lot of people that have metal floor-panels that they put in when they do a custom interior. However, I think that the floor-panel fell off because the "NOS" gave the car such a boost and it made it go so fast that it ripped the panel from the bolts (and also blurred light). Anyhow, jokes aside, I do think that a computer in the car would be very nice. And also, I have seen a car with a computer in it before on the net, so, it is possible, you just gotta know what you're doing.

I'm a tech geek so anyone with car skills that doesn't mind dash-cutting a bit or knows a place with some really good Wi-Fi, it's going to be difficult.

There IS wireless internet available, and there are also adapters and stuff that you can use when plugged into your phone to allow you to access dial-up providers based on your signal strength. Personally, I think that'd be good and bad.. because yeah, you're going to have a kickass setup with whatever you're doing, but the downside is the distraction, and since (from what I've seen), a lot of you don't have insurance.. that'd be a little risky.
