Ok, sorry if this is a repost, if so just point me in the right direction, I've searched and just haven't found what I wanted so I'm asking.
I can't decide which size is better 17's or 18's? I'd like to hear from both sides, who has 17's and who has 18's what tire size, if you are having any problems ie. Rubbing, or anything else? Very much appreciated! -------------------- |

Basically, you can fit 19's, even 20's on a 6GC.
But, the bigger you go, the more uncomfortable the ride, the easier they are to damage, and the heavier they are, affecting handling/ acceleration. I wouldn't go over 17 personally, depends how much you use your car, quality of roads you travel on etc, or whether your car is a show piece.... -------------------- |

Enkei's are nice, man. And those would look exceptional in 17" with some 215/40R17's on 'em.
But seriously, one of the richest counties in the US - in Kansas? Really? This post has been edited by shaunrichard: Jul 10, 2008 - 12:34 PM -------------------- |

Yep, Johnson county. Sometimes I hate it! Luckily I live on the very edge and am away from the REALLY rich people but yeah. And thanks for the advice and compliments! Idk if I'm gunna go with 215/45/17 or manybe 215/40/17 I'm guessing the 45 but I have quite some time to decide yet! Getting my exhaust done in about a week and half! Borla muffler and custom exhaust from header back! Stoked about it!!

OK ladies. change your tampons and move on.
my bro just picked up a set of those in 17" for his Prelude (obviously a different bolt pattern) running 40 profile tires with Skunk2 coil overs..rides ok. but definatly rougher then the celica, id get 45 profile side wall tires. -------------------- Kawi Love |

get the 215/45/17. Just a little more rubber makes for a more comfortable ride and it fills in the wheel gap just that much more.

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up! My initial plan was to go with the 45's but after that bit of info I kno for sure I will, thanks! -------------------- |
