Hi, guys am in need of help!
I have a 94 celica st, with a 3sgte from a 92 celica...(am not sure its of the year thats what the person who sold it told me, but can't find vin or anything on the clip to say other wise)
Dr. tweak made the wiring harnness.....

The problem
NO spark.....
I have chage the ignition coil and igniter , brand new!!!! and no luck
The funny thing is that I was getting spark before , but no fuel, but then i change some relays, EFI relay and Starter relay and now i have fuel , but no spark..... I though it might me the computer so i got a another one, but no diffrence.....

NO CHECK ENGINELIGHT
I am not getting a check engine light, I was told that if it did't turn on it would't , turn on the car....
my mechanic check and I am getting power to the computer, and i have ground... so am about to replace the ecu one more time ,

my mecanic thinks it can be .....
1. bad computer, again ( does anyone know how to check them)
2. bad distributor ( I am really sure about this one)---- I just got a new distributor and no difference....
3. or bad wiring ( but from what i have seen in the forums Dr. tweek is the best so i don't think so)

HELP PLEASE, this is my little brotres swap and i promise him I was going to started

oh, i forgot to mention, at first i had spark but no fuel, but when i fixed the fuel issue i lost spark, all we did was change some relays.....guys anything you can think of would be of great help.... thanks

Did you hook up the ground that goes from the main harness to the back of the intake manifold?
Is your igniter connected bolted to the chassis (it needs to be grounded)?

Yes, my igniter is connected to the cassis, and the harness connection to the intake manifold...... the weird think is that I had spark before... do you know if there is a fuse or relay specifically for this.... i have check all them but maybe there is one i have't check....

you should check all your fuses with a tester. maybe you somehow blew the efi fuse or something.
besides that, check with a multimeter to make sure your getting power at the ingiter and coil harness plugs.

if its still not running then, i would suspect the wiring.

Oh and check that you connected the harness plug to the distributor. Thats a common one people forget.

laugh.gif That happened to me a few times laugh.gif

But yea, make sure all the grounds are nice and tight, i had a weak ground in my fuse box so i made a jumper ground directly to the chassy... and check the COIL, i used to have like 3 of these things lying around ill see if i find one for you...

My issue was the starter relay. Plus you should check the grounds near your headlights on the chasis.

make sure your harness is wired for the correct ecu part # you have. I had that problem with my swap.
