so awhile ago i saw this post from coomer about using st185 rear disc brake setup on his car...heres the link

http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=45705

coomer writes...

Rear Setup
Stock AT200 spindles/hubs
OEM ST185 backing plates
OEM ST185 internal e-brake components
OEM ST185 e-brake cables
OEM ST185 single-piston calipers
Satisfied ST185 ceramic brake pads
Brembo ST204 OEM-replacement rotors (part number 25162 I think...may have been 25163)
OEM AT200 front brake lines

so since i couldnt get the st204 rear disc brake conversion stuff for the life of me...(with 3 failed attempts with members on this board kindasad.gif )...i decide to pick up some st185 rear disc brake stuff and try coomers setup out. anyway long story short, on the st185 the caliper bolts up to the caliper bracket that bolts up to the axle carrier. obviously we dont have this on the 6th gen. so im not sure how coomer (if ur reading this clear out ur pm box pls or just help me out here thnx!!! biggrin.gif ) managed to use the st185 backing plate since theres no where to bolt the caliper...as oppose to when using the GT backing plate the caliper bolts onto the backing plate.

does anyone have the part numbers for the st185 calipers, st204 calipers, st185 backing plate, and st204 backing plate? also the st184 backing plate and calipers as well. does anyone know if the bolt placements are at the same spots with the st185 calipers and st204 calipers??? id like to see if i can just pick up an st184 or st204 backing plate and if my st185 calipers would work with 'em. thnx in advance!
