Hi guys, I'm installing a header and as Iw as checking my engine bay, the nuts thats connecting the manifold to the engine, seems really rusty. I'm thinking of just replacing it as I should anyways. I was wondering what is the size of the nuts and where could I pick one up? should I just go to a home depot or buy it off from a toyota dealer?

I used my rusty bolts...However, one of my studs was missing when I pulled the stock manifold off. I went directly to the dealer and ordered a new stud and bolt. If I recall, it was no more than like 3-4 bucks. If your not going to replace the studs I honestly don't see a reason to replace the bolts.

Yea,seriously, order new ones...these are a specialized shape and have an end that looks like they are made for the heat expansion without snapping all the time.

Ok I guess I'll order it, do you know the part number for it?

BTW to those who installed and wrapped the header with the DEI wrap, how long / how much should I get some?

I ordered a 2" x 15' black, would that be enough ?

I just used penetrating lube and a hammer and torque gun and it got me through fine without breaking anything.
I also got the 2x15 one and no its not really enough. Best you will be able to do is cut into 2 pieces and wrap it the way i did.

Oh and don't forget the steel zipties.
