Get a panel popper to take the passenger side vent out.

I love these by the way, I really wish I could find a set for my 205.
Help me find a set? wink.gif

Hmm i bet these came from same wrecker i got oem
pedal kit from last week. That car was a rolling parts
catlog. I passed on buying these as high cost is not
not worth it for radio trim and i have 98 trim anyway.
Seen maybe 2 in last year for sale.

Looks good regardless .. One my favorite st202s on here

If I ever see another another, i'll definitely post a link up or something... however remember only 2 sets have been put up for sale (mine) and another which was sold. frown.gif

I'd almost recommend that stick on c/f copy for the surround (I was orginally going to buy that, but then the trd version came up)

best to start saving. you have to pay to have rare.

Yes, the HKS silent hi-power exhaust tip for ST202 Celica is about 115mm.

Just been working on my cold airbox

genuine TRD cardboard right there laugh.gif

Much happier with this design as it is bigger, and looks better than my previous 2 designs. I've had a lot of fun designing and making this, rather than buying off the shelf bolt ons.

Not finished yet, still have lots to do on it. But thought you'd like to see an update.

Straight pipe FTW.

Interested to see how you get a 3" pipe (for the box inlet) through behind the fuse box or if you seal off around the stock triangular plastic piece.

I think I'm going to seal it around the area of the fusebox, last thing I want to do is resrict the intake to the filter.

biggrin.gif cheers man

For the cutting I'm using a nibbler, in the photo they are just taped together so you can get an idea what it will look like.

...wrong one

Air nibbler
awesome little tool, cuts through the sheetmetal, and doesn't leave any sharp edges behind.

First test fit of the metal airbox (still taped up at this stage). Trying to get the bottom sheet leveled as much as possible so I can sort out the mounting points, and checking the sheets are sitting right and aren't hitting anything else. Test fitted the new silcone joiner on aswell.

Slowly getting there smile.gif
