I have a 3s-gte engine.

my engine is actin funny and I pulled the oil dipstick out but only part of it came out. I think the end of it is inside the hole still. Anybody know a way to get it out safely? I'm sorta freakin out, I'm gonna keep her in the garage untill I can figure this out.

thanks

yeah get under their and drop the pan, however make sure you have the proper torque specs b/c you dont want to over-tighten the pan

got this fixed btw, tried the magnet but it was all the way in the oil pan I think, so I dropped the oil pan and got it out.

Engine is still smokeing so I took it to the shop and it failed a compression check, so now they are telling me I need a new engine. looking at a jdm 3sgte instead of a usdm
