as you all know my coupe was hit kindasad.gif

so...

ive found a nice aqua (i know kindasad.gif) hatch. its also an st... but i figure for what i would pay to fix my car ($1,800), i could prolly buy this one and swap over all my goodies then sell mine as is... or part out what i can and scrap it.

at any rate... the 'new' on is a 95 (2 post spoiler ftw) has like 80k miles on it and seems descent

the bad:
- no fuel door? (i presume the coupe fuel door will swap over)
- its in dirty jersey lol (i had 2 dsm's crap out in a heart beat that i got from jersey so i dunno... but eric & corey & stevenson's cars keep on rockin)
- passenger low beam headlight glass is cracked (i have a good stock one to replace it with, or just replace it with some projectors wink.gif )
- dont know about the engine... but am undergoing a swap anyways on the coupe, so why not forget that and just swap on the hatch.

the good:
- body and paint seem good on it, and besides the seats and floor mats interior looks good
- NO rust in the wheel wells or under the doors or under the hatch

they are asking $2,800, its a 5spd - i got my coupe for $500 so im sure this will make up for it lol

oh... and my coupe just rolled past the 360,000 mile mark wink.gif

so what do you guys think? should i get it? or fix the coupe?

and... then stevenson has a choice of 7a's biggrin.gif

Wow, your coupe looked WAAAAAAAAAAAYYY too clean to have that many miles!!
well i'd go for the teal hatch just due to the miles on the old chassy...
swap over some stuff and sell or part out the coupe.

i think i will do it just to avoid having to fix the coupe lol

plus i like the riser block look.

the teal will prolly get changed to either black, white, or red - or maybe a dark really mettalically teal lol

and yea.... i drive ALOT so i could always keep the coupe for a trip car and have the hatch for a fun car to keep the miles down

For real, Get the hatch, and keep the coupe. Use whatever parts are needed to get the hatch into tip-top shape, and rather part the rest of the coupe or keep it all and slowly rebuild it; then you'll have 2 Celicas biggrin.gif

Or parting it out will make some of your money back, and help with the price of swaping. wink.gif
