Its been a long and project full 4 years since I bought my celica, all beat up and bone stock, its been 3 engines and countless all nighters since but somehow still feels pretty close, I can even remember the first song on the old tape deck stock radio with soda stains the night I drove it home, back all jacked because the driver seat was busted I could not have been happyer. There have been good times and bad times, times of joy and times of sad but all in all its been a great learning exsperiance that I'll never forget. I'll always have a soft spot for the the 6th gens and will always respect thoes who have made theres great. Sat I stripped my car and drove it to the dealership as a traid in on a new baby, a new car to blow countless money and hours on in my endless struggle to reach automotive bliss (on a budget.) I owe a huge thanks to this site and all its members for the knowlage shared with little to no personal gain. While I deffinatly plan on hanging around and helping others where I can I dont see myself owning another 6th gen in the near future.
Keep an eye out for my FS thread with all my saved celica parts. few pics of the Celica over the years: few quick photos of the new baby. Cool, good luck with the new car Do they have a different spoiler to put on those, i hate that flat one when you see the 2 scoobies together you realize, they really haven't done much to the styling over the last decade or so!
Plus no need to leave us, be good to see what you do with your new ride in off-topic -------------------- |

Chris, one of these days we'll need to have a mini meet on our own... and you'll need to get active on NASIOC.
When are you going to start modding it? -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

QUOTE Chris, one of these days we'll need to have a mini meet on our own... and you'll need to get active on NASIOC. When are you going to start modding it? I'm up for a mini meet, and I'm active on NASIOC have been for a good year just have not made it to a meet. Modding is gana be slow and easy, its under warrente for another 36k miles so I'm not gana void it, but I'm gana do a few things just when I figure out what I want to do, how I want to build it. Its going to stay my daily driver not gana race it or mod it to death. QUOTE how much did they give you for your car? 2k plus the tax savings from it. would have liked more but I would have felt really guilty selling to someone private party considering it was in bad shape. -------------------- |
