I might buy this mr-2, not my first color of choice but it seems in good shape and has records back to 1991.

very nice, If it is the one on autotrader that I think it is, yes, turbo. However the ad is wrong because it says TT???

Don't forget the MR is more of a toy. I needed trasportation with a trunk so I could not get one.

Yup its turbo and it is the one that says tt, I just think he misunderstands when it says" twin entry turbo", to someone who does know it seems like a twin turbo. But ya its bone stock accept for the shifter and new paint job. Ill take a real good look over everything.

I like the color. The leather seats seem exactly like my Celica's.

I'm gonna get an MR2 too biggrin.gif . I'm working for it right now and the celica is probably going to my sister. I thought I was going to definitely get a 240sx s13/s14, but then i thought to myself why not an mr2; It's fast, rwd, and it looks good.

Does the the mr2 use the front as cargo space, since the engine is in the back?

not technically, the front is supposed to be used as just a spare tire storage, although you could toss carpeting over it and fit some real small things in there, theyd probably get tossed around real good though. but in the MK1s and MK2s they had a seperate trunk in the rear.

Well I just got back from looking at it, 9 hour trip in all. First thing is first, the car is mint! or was mint when I got there, I bought it for 11, 000CND.

So this is what happened, he pops all the hoods to show me everything, we look at the engine and in the trunk which i must say was bigger then I thought. Then we look at the inside, everything is really nice and then we talk a bit and hes like so wanna go for a cruise and Im like "sure!". So we are cruising and everyhting is great and then SLAMMMM, the ****in hood whipped up and cracked the windshield!!! We forgot to look in the front trunk and therefore it was never closed!! So we pull over and check out the damage, and its all cosmetic so I said I was still interested he would just need to fix it, so he is going to call toyota tomorrow and get it fixed good. I was sad to see a mint car get beat up but the thing runs great so its all good. biggrin.gif
