pickled mushrooms are for the win.

and Sinyk, if you had my picked mushrooms, you'd be a fan if you like pickled asparagus. (witch is really good w/ cheese & ritz crackers tongue.gif yummy)

But then again, i'll eat just about anything... rolleyes.gif as long as i'm not allergic to it, i'll eat it, and in massive proportions. biggrin.gif I love food.

EDIT: what about fried pickles? anyone else like fried pickles?

I've had them before. They aren't bad, though I prefer a cold crispy, preferably a bit spicy pickle.

In italian dressing, that might be something to try. The last pickled mushrooms I had tasted like they were pickled in butter, which I'm sure isn't possible, but they were sooo greasy...

Pickled onions!! mmm...

yeah, i'm alergic to onions. well, i can cook with em, i just cant eat them directly. Witch sucks for me i suppose...

But you boil butter, then simmer things in in and it's basicly the same as pickling. But mushrooms with Italian dressing and a bit of venigar for atleast a week or so make for a good pickled mushroom.

I have a jar of pickled garlic on the shelf downstairs. That stuff is awesome, just don't have a date/meeting for the next couple days. biggrin.gif
