yea ive been looking for a single 12" woofer and im trying to spare every pound i can. I wish the specs of the subs would tell you the weight but they dont. So please if anyone has had any past experience or know of a GOOD sub thats lightweight and around the 250-400 RMS range please let me know.

i know theres plenty of shallow mount subs but are they actually any lighter?

Ive had my eye on polk subs (momo and sum others) and also the shallow mount pioneer. Please give me your input thanks!

Maybe something like a Kicker CompVT would work. It's a shallow mount sub, but I couldn't find info on the weight.

Still, you are going to get a lot of weight from your box. Were you planning to do a fiberglass enclosure? A shallow mount sub can sound great in a really small box.
