Im deciding on putting lambo doors on the celi, vertical doors offers a universal kit but some welding might be neccesary but many bodyshops and a buddy of mine told me to get a bolt on kit only. I definately would like to see some pics of what some of your cars look like with your lambo kits and what were your company options.

*pukes* dont get lambo doors... they're played out... just like spinners and such. at least in chicago anyway. around here it would just look tacky and ricerish. (not calling you ricer or anything so please don't get offended) honestly i would invest in a turbo or swap or some kind of performance upgrade if i were you.
but hey, if its still cool around your area and you reaaaaly want to, then go nuts. I obviously dont have any recommendations on a bolt on kit. remember though. ebay is your friend oh yea you have an amazing interior by the way, im sure everyone here would murder for one just like yours. i dont think they look bad, you just gotta have the right look to a car before you put em on...like I saw a 6gc the other day that was completely stock with the lambo doors...didnt look right at all...

Yeah you kinda have a point do a swap rather than the doors, i think the universal kit is $1599 and all the local shops are crazy expensive to get them put on, i think everything totaled out to $2600, i think im going into a 3sgte swap.

I had the lambo doors, the 45 degree ones (there was a GB on here a year or 2 ago) and they sucked, the shocks sucked and could barely get the door open, then I sent the shocks back and they were over pressurized and it was extremly hard to close the door. And on top of all that, it was a pain in the ASS to get in and out, and then close the door. If you cant find 90 degree doors, DONT DO IT. you WILL regret it.

Your Solstice is ridiculous, brother. The only thing that looks American is...um...NOTHING. For real. It looks awesome. I knew the front end reminded me of the F430 for some reason, LOL. The thing is clean. You always have great taste. OK, enough. Back on topic.
Please record a video of it boosting. I would LOVE to show it to the admin of a website I'm a mod of. He was going to buy one but ended up buying an Evo X. This post has been edited by OOBE: Jul 16, 2008 - 3:23 AM -------------------- |
