After selling my WRX (I'll admit it was over my monetary measures kindasad.gif ), I settled on what I was was a happy medium.

A 2002 EP3 CIVIC ! tongue.gif I love the thing, the seats are phenomenal for such a "cheap car" and the steering is also very comfortable, then there's the ride quality, which "just feels right", sport and comfortable..but it needs better tires badly.
And there's the engine...160 HP which is enough for me and only uses only regular fuel and get descent fuel economy.

But HEY, it's a rare car (even rarer than the 6th gen I beleive), and (I'll rub it in all your faces, It has TONS OF AFTER MARKET PARTS for it laugh.gif ).

enjoy and hate.

Engine needs cleaning BADLY, it was shooted for rust.

I always wonder, how does the shifter feels ? I mean is almost on the dash board lol

enjoy your new ride and go crazy with aftermarket parts.

nice car, but i'm one of those people who have my hand on the shifter at all times, can you reach it with your elbow on the armrest?

Theres no arm rest, the shifter feels and work just like a normal shifter but it's about 6-7" higher than a normal shifter if you take the proportion into consideration, I don't mind it at all, it forces you to have your two hands on the wheel (or you can keep it on the shifter).

Congratz. I've never seen the ep3 in red. btw I love the ep3's. Any plans? The shifter is an awesome feeling and I know what you mean about the seats and steering wheel. just don't spill anything on the suede.

J/P cool car man - that shifter setup is the exact reason I didn't buy my friend's fully modded Matrix XRS for my DD.

I believe I'll hate. It has an erection and the air filter seems to be in the wrong place. It also resembles a midget minivan laugh.gif

Now for the Enjoyment; It's new, it gets done what you need done, and it isn't a stang' (Rarenes value = 0) Rare, and has a pretty color too it.

As long as you're happy, that's what matters most. Good job biggrin.gif Enjoy yourself thumbsup.gif

I think it's rare because it's unpopular. LOL

j/k I don't know if it is or not... it's not my bag but I think it's excellent that you got a car you're so happy with. Say what you will about Hondas, they're still outstanding cars and have probably just as much going for them in terms of reliability and quality as Toyotas do. I just happen to be Toyota girl.

I'm gonna have to side with D-Man on that weird erection thing though. I'm not sure I could show that thing to people and keep a straight face. laugh.gif

congrats.. those gen civics are nice when they're cleanly modded.. i see a few here on cruise nights. definitely the shifter lookss rather awkward but being high mounted it is very functional.. still my fav are the newer Si's. i drove my friends and instantly fell in love with the k20 and especially the 6spd gearbox.

yea it looks too much like a minivan.

Am I the only one who loves the shifter?
This shifter was designed for racing in mind to have minimal distance between the steering wheel and the shifter.
