hi guys i have a 3sfe engine in my celica gt import and am wondering what i can do to it to increaes the bhp in it i have got hold of a few local places but they have told me that i can't do anything to it as it is not economically not tunable , can you help me guys as i realy want to increaes the bhp but have come to a standstill at this one . thanks

They weren't lying, there is very little you can do for less than a couple of grand that will make much difference. You can get exhaust/de-cat induction kit with cold air feed, that's about it. That will get you maybe 10BHP, but this will probably only cancel out what it has lost over the years. You either appreciate it for what it is, or sell up and buy something faster i'm afraid. As said above, a GT with the 3S-GE engine is a bit better with 177 BHP, or then there's the GT-4, which is miles faster, but expensive to run.... -------------------- |

You seem to be a little confused about what you actually have, Chuck a photo of your engine up just to make sure. You mention GT in this post, you mention SS-II in your profile, if it is either of those you will have a more powerful engine than a 3s-fe.
