sorry last post made no sense.... i want to make sure i but the right water pump for my engine does anyone have suggestions?

bump for the pump..... i need to know guys how do i tell the difference between the generation 3sgte that i have? also the water pumps ar different so id like to know the part numbers

use the vin on the engine's vin tag to lookup online or to have a dealer lookup the particular model year it came from, the use wikipedia to determine the generation of engine.

Ok its out of an st205 that would make it gen 3 now where would I get a water pump for this? I'm assuming I can't go to my dealership and get one correct?

they are available from toyotaworld.com and some other sites too, kbox.ca I think has them also.

yes and no. Email kbox and/or call Jeff Watson from toyotaworld and they can get them for you.

I am sure you can either go after market or oem but I am oem guy. I would look up the vin number but from what I can see from these talks it. I can't tell you the number but I am sure if you go to your local toyota dealer they can look it up for you. I would go with the dark knight batman and follow up with toyota site
