My pairs and my friend's (Black One) pair are using Rayme's Lenses...
Can't say perfect, but nearly perfect in my eyes, I am satisfactory with that...
How come you ask such question? I don't have skills for that... and don't wanna waste time to source...

That looks really good - what did he use as a shroud? Did he custom make one, or did he have one for those projectors? I'm about | | <--- that close to doing a projector retrofit, and I'm still looking for the perfect material to make a shroud with.

Don't get it, what do u mean by shroud? U mean housing or what? Everything is stock, just need to drill holes to fix the projector ballast, and use spray paint to paint all the plastic pieces in Black

The shroud is the part that goes around the projector housing so it's not visible. Are those JDM projectors that were modified in that picture w/the black painted reflectors, or are they non-projector lights that were retrofitted with projectors?

Hello together, hello vince.

Today i started to retrofit some headlights.
I got the glass off very easily. 120°C in a steam oven 5 Minutes and then just slightly use a knife or a palet knife or so.

Then i took the headlights apart. No problem.

I then started to dremel out the inner circle of the refelctor.
see picture:

then i tried to get it a little square...

But now before i go further i have got a few questions.

1) How much should the projector itself look out on the backside of the reflector?

2) At the projector itself is there a left and a right one? They both look the same.

3) At the projector there is this metal plate which covers a part of the light. You know. But when the projector gets attached will this metal plate be on the upper site or on the bottom of the Projector? I gues on the upper site like this:

Please answer to all questions. Thank you.

Joerg

I don't have spec for this, sorry

2) At the projector itself is there a left and a right one? They both look the same.

Both are the same, no matter which one left and right, both are for left hand Drive, I mean the beam direction

3) At the projector there is this metal plate which covers a part of the light. You know. But when the projector gets attached will this metal plate be on the upper site or on the bottom of the Projector? I gues on the upper site like this:

There is 2 wires out of the projector, hook it to any 12v source, u will see the motor make the metal plate flip down, and let the beam strike higher to serve as high beam

So. should be sit at the buttom, try it before fix it mate
