I want to get some side skirts for my celi but i am afraid about speed bumps etc. For those of you have have Tien S tech lowering springs and side skirts do you ever have problems?

Celicas can be dropped pretty low with the exception of body kits.

its the front and backs that have problems with bumps, but lowering it an inch to 1 1/2 shouldnt be bad with skirts

Yeah it doesent seem like the sides are a problem but i hit a bad speed but a couple weeks ago and hit my crossmember.

The first time i went over i was going fast for a speed bump. The next time i went by the same speed bump i went really slow and it happend again. Maybe just a wierd speed bump.

I second this comment! biggrin.gif No problems with my Teins/Stock skirts. Just go on an angle & slow on bumps/driveways, etc.

stock or 404 have no problems. or shouldn't. still too high wanna go lower.

Very true. If it helps, I was running stock wheels/tires, 18x8 w/215/35-18 tires (same overall diameter) and 18x8 w/225/40-18 tires (slightly larger than stock diameter), all with zero issues.

i have 16s (not sure of the tire specs though) and no problems with scraping. i have oem sides on mine. it will also depend on how good/stiff your struts are.

athorn dont worry much about it. if you scrape, you scrape. i scrape...........but that's on really inclined driveways and really high bumps.
