You see, my celica (even though I dont have pics of it) has 237000 with a flat black front drivers side quarter panel. It's an ST which are the absolute slowest cars in the world imo, the only way I would have kept it was if I was going to do a 3sgte swap but the threads that Ive read on here say that swapping a 3s into a 7a would be somewhere around $11000 and I only bought this car for $7000. I say good ridens to the celi even though shes never given me any problems in the 4 years that Ive had her. Now Im going to do just about all mechanical work to the eclipse to get it pretty fast. Im thinking about going ahead and dropping a supercharger in it, but would rather have a turbo. Dont know what I will do, I just got it on friday, sooooooooooo...... IM HAPPY!!!

Both were free? I'd grab the Celica hands down. I had a g/f with an 02 Eclipse and the transmission went after 18k.

Just enjoy the car. All you gotta do is enjoy the car...If it makes you happy then congrats..i bet when u join an eclipse site and say u got rid of ur celica for this car they will be saying what an upgrade and how the celica is so slow...ppl always seem to point out all the bad on w/e every it is they dont have...Not saying Its my choice car but please dont let the bashing get to you if ur happy.. It happens with everything.

6gcs suck...there i said it...i admit i love the gt4 looks good 3s, is an amazing engine but cmon dont kid yourselves kiddies...the car can take a bullet move on i'm over it when i see a decked out celi now w/o a 3s i giggle a little..leave the guy alone n save the bbq for ppl that deserve it (those with opinions in direct conflict of your own that is) <3 u cool guys..
